Sandra asks…
give me the genuine internet job sites?
i am in search of some completely genuine internet job sites please help me and inform me immediately.
The answers:
I would suggest using job search engines like SimplyHired.com (www.simplyhired.com) or Indeed.com (www.indeed.com). Both search engines index jobs from all over the web, so it’s a one-stop-shop for job seekers. You’ll find jobs from job boards, employers, non-profit agencies, government, recruitment agencies, and more.
I would also recommend LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com), where you can create an online work profile as well as search for more jobs.
Best of luck in your job search, Jeremey!

Sandy asks…
Can my job track the Internet sites I visit from my work laptop? How do I erase that info?
My job provided me with a laptop computer, that I use at home, on my own internet connection, but can my job somehow see the sites that I’ve visited, without actually having the computer in front of them?
How would I erease any internet sites visited from that laptop?
If I’m on another network (home) and then log onto their web page, would they be able to download any info without me knowing?
The answers:
In practice most corporations are only concerned with the websites their employees use while connected to the company network and the filter they do is usually at the network level, not the machine.
Some companies, typically small to mid-sized business, may use a machine based filter/logging system.
And even though you are not on their network does not mean they cannot access your machine. Some PC management tools work over the Internet and do not require a connection to the company network to function.
The computer does belong to the company and you should have no expectation of privacy when it comes to anything you use the machine for.
As someone who maintains these type of systems I can tell you that we generally don’t care what sites you visit as long as you are not using your computer in a risky manner, that means using your PC for illegal activity such as sharing copyrighted materials, browsing websites that load spyware/adware/viruses such as porn sites or sites that promise free software, etc.

Lisa asks…
How does my job trace internet sites visited?
If someone happens to find a website that has anything relating to games/music/video, after a day or so that site becomes blocked even though it wasn’t before. My question is how do the system admin know which sites we visit? Is there a way to hide the sites we visit from them?
The answers:
Odds are, your office is using an intranet (internal network) and your computer is actually connecting to the internet through their servers. These servers will log your internet access.
Use a proxy to bypass the logs.
But are these websites worth the chance of losing your job?

Donna asks…
What are things employers should keep in mind when using internet sites to find job candidates?
For example, I know they should look into what certain job search engines offer because not all offer the same quality or benefits. Then there are inherent legal trouble spots that come along with using the Internet to hire employees, so there are laws that go in to effect. Can anyone come up with any other ideas?
The answers:
He had to be sure to give the proper email , Exemple : HR@company.com and not a yahoo or gmail
or asking to send resume through the website messege tool. Cause only stupid people will send their information to someone they are not even sure they exist.
